Given that, what are some of the stereotypes that are found in the movie? How were they

Activity

September 21, 2009

Choose one of the following activities this week and blog it by Friday, September 25.
**Spend at least 15 minutes observing the non-verbal communications between two people and record your findings. Your observation should include hand gestures, eye contact, posture, use of space. Suggested places to watch malls, games, classroom, cafeteria.
**Intentionally violate the “unwritten rules” of nonverbal communication. Record on how people act to your “violations”. Possible “violations” include standing too close or too far away during conversation, making too much or too little eye contact, using inappropriate facial expressions, speaking too loudly or too quietly, or claiming some public space as your own.

List fifteen norms and then identify them as either a folkway or more. Be creative.
